Senior Product Marketing Manager

So much more than promotions and press releases; marketing a new e-commerce product targeting the Small Medium Business (SMB) segment is a unique blend of cross-functional teams, digital, email, PR/PA, social media, analytics, business intelligence, and data science.

You’re passionate about products that improve life at a small to medium business, about launching a new product while being fully supported by one of the strongest brands in the industry, you want to work in a start-up environment, without it’s stresses.

To realize the potential in 2-3 years, you will start by focusing on several key markets in North America, Europe and in Asia and experimenting continuously. Once we solve the initial onboarding challenges, we’ll shift focus to Revenue and CAC.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be managing all marketing initiatives, responsible for driving the brand marketing strategy across all channels. You will also be planning and executing against all aspects of the CRM strategy.

With that mind, our client is looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial leader to help them build an amazing new product.  The ideal candidate is someone who is creative, diligent and passionate about making good things great, has a proven track record of delivering results and seeing ideas all the way through execution, and values rapid experimentation in his/her approach. You will feel like a CMO in a start-up, effectively owning all marketing and CRM efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a successful launch of a new product and continued Go-to-market and marketing efforts;
  • Manage all aspects of marketing for this product – including digital and offline activity, internal, Social, PR;
  • Lead the strategy of how we communicate with stakeholders (B2B & B2C) through all of our existing channels;
  • Assume control of online lead generation and CRM including developing and executing innovative acquisition and retention strategies;
  • Manage the launch and ongoing communication of new initiatives, and key USP’s;
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and identify how market shifts will impact product and/or company market share;
  • Work with marketing teams to share learning’s, and to maintain consistency around brand voice.

Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role and a proven track record in taking end-to-end responsibility of marketing online B2B products, from idea generation to execution;
  • Experience in running effective e-CRM initiatives, incl. lead generation;
  • Have a strong analytical mind and be data driven;
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments and stakeholders;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
  • Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals;
  • Passion for solving problems creatively, starting small, failing fast, and applying your learnings;
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done;
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably B2B.

KPI’s

  • In the initial phase, Customer acquisition (No. of customers) and customer engagement;
  • Following this phase, we’ll focus on Revenue per account, ROI per account, and Customer Acquisition Costs;
